The Augmentor Arena is a 20-man raid. Initially the dungeon was going to re-use existing assets, but I ended up modeling, set dressing and doing the layout of the entire instance to give it a more unique look. The boss fight and story was conceived by me with assistance from our designer, Tom Cassera. I wanted to really push the boundaries of our visual synergy between fights and the environment. I ended up creating platforms, circuit breakers, wires, and more that would change between corrupted and non-corrupted states as the fight progressed.
